The Rock Carvings of Yeh Pulu

Just a few minutes from the Elephant Cave in Bedulu (see map) is Yeh Pulu, an ancient complex of rock carvings. But the highlight of our brief visit wasn't the carvings, but the diminutive caretaker of the site and her friendly husband. She took us along the entire site explaining each carving, with Andy doing his best to translate her Indonesian.

She kept asking Andy to take pictures of her with Susanne. She's so little she makes Susanne look like a giant!
