From Sideshow To Genocide:
Survivor Stories

No matter how much research and effort is put into a history of the Cambodian genocide, it is nearly impossible to convey the personal impact of this horrific tragedy without having experienced the events directly. Therefore we have invited survivors of the holocaust to share their stories with you. Each story is an intimate account, a memoir, a testament to the insanity that swept Cambodia in April 1975 and the years that followed. Some survivors fared better than others; all lost many members of their immediate and extended families. These brave individuals bore witness to the genocide; may their stories serve to remind us why we can never allow this madness to happen again.
