On the night of October 27, 2004, nine decades of heartache and disappointment came to an end as the Boston Red Sox won their first World Series championship since 1918. Living less than a mile from Fenway Park, home to the Red Sox, Andy and Susanne Carvin went to a local Irish bar to watch the game and join the celebrations afterwards. This website is a collection of photos, recollections and video clips capturing the sheer ecstasy that swept across Boston that wonderful night.
