The great Tibetan stupa at Bodnath

The giant stupa of Bodnath is undoubtedly the largest stupa in Nepal, and as far as I know, might be the largest in the world. Built centuries ago by Tibetan Buddhists, the stupa is now the axis of the Tibetan refugee community that has lived in the Kathmandu Valley since the Chinese invasion over 40 years ago.
