The Panch Mahal, Fatehpur Sikri

The tallest structure at Fatehpur Sikri is known as the Panch Mahal. Seven stories tall, the Panch Mahal was a vertical playground for the emperor Akbar, who would play hide and seek with his harem on its many levels. Back then, each floor was enclosed in a fine paneling - otherwise, I guess hide and seek would have been a bit too easy.
