Aymara
The indigenous people of Lake Titicaca and the surrounding regions in Peru and Bolivia. The Aymara have lived near Titicaca for hundreds of years, predating even the Quechuas who subjugated the tribe during the Inca empire. The Aymara's original language still thrives and is one of the major cultural factors that distinguishes them from the more populous Quechuas.
